Obituary for James F. Springer
James F. Springer, age 63, of Macksburg, Ohio, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born July 5, 1950, in Caldwell, son of the late Dale M. and Genevieve Sadanowicz Springer. He was a 1968 graduate of Caldwell High School, and he retired from Sharon Stone Company. Mr. Springer was a member of the Caldwell Eagles, the Belle Valley Sons of the American Legion Post #641, and he was a member and treasurer of the former Caldwell Jaycees. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports on television, and working on his cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sarah Langley. Surviving are one daughter, Susan R. Springer (Delbert King) of Caldwell; one son, James A. Springer of Caldwell; one sister, Rose Marie (Jim) Pangle of Caldwell; two brothers, Jerry (Tybithia) Springer and Joe Springer, both of Caldwell; a half-brother, Jack Marx of Michigan; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, December 27th at 11AM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
