Obituary for Irene Miller
Irene Miller, age 80, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born September 29, 1929, in Elk Township, Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Bert W. and Grace Wells VanFossen. She was a 1947 graduate of Elk Rural High School and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Green Valley Church of Christ and the East Union Homemakers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Lynn Miller; one brother, Kenneth VanFossen; and one daughter-in-law, Becky Miller. Surviving are her husband, Dwight Miller, whom she married June 25, 1949; two sons, Denny D. Miller and Danny B. Miller, both of Sarahsville; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. ***Due to the hazardous weather, visitation has been changed to Sunday, February 7, 2010, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where services will be observed Monday, February 8th at 2PM with Ronald Rossiter officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery, Caldwell.
