Obituary for Mark S. Thomas
Mark S. Thomas, age 60, of Ava, Ohio, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, Ohio. He was born December 28, 1948, son of the late Joseph V. and Elizabeth J. ?Betty? Halahan Thomas. He was a graduate of Shenandoah High School, and was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley, and he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his children, Anthony J. Thomas of Westlake, Samuel J. Thomas of Windsor, Connecticut, and Carina R. Hutcheson of Canton; his brothers and sisters, Suella (Sam) Narotski of Pickerington, Joseph Thomas of Caldwell, John (Margaret) Thomas of New Concord, Patrick Thomas of Richmond, Indiana, Vickie (Steve) Wheldon of New Albany, Loretta (Doug) Roby of Carmel, Indiana, Michael (Debra) Thomas of Columbus, Evelyn Rogers of Boston, Massachussetts, Anita Bradley of Granville, Annette (Ted) Brink of Jacksonville, Florida, and Deborah (Mark) Snode of Pataskala; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday, April 7, 2009, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a Christian wake service will be observed at 4PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Wednesday, April 8th at 11AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Belle Valley.
