Obituary for Gail Andrew Feldner
Gail A. Feldner, age 65, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born July 3, 1943 in Caldwell, son of Cleo Margaret Wilma Thompson Feldner of Caldwell and the late Chester Leland ?Boob? Feldner. He worked for a time as a self employed milk hauler, and he also worked on silos and in oil fields. Mr. Feldner retired from the Noble County Highway Department where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards and bingo. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one sister, M. Emaline Scheich; and two brothers, Jeff ?Cook? Feldner and Francis Feldner. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna J. Robinson Feldner, whom he married October 19, 1964; five daughters, Penny A. (Nick) Schell of Caldwell, Lisa M. (Randall) Clark of Caldwell, Sandra J. (Larry) Leonard of Caldwell, Tammy J. (Lloyd) Farnsworth of Summerfield and Margaret W. Mace of Caldwell; one son, Thomas E. (Charlene) Feldner of Wheeling, West Virginia; three brothers, Lloyd (Shelia) Feldner of Cambridge, Norman (Jackie) Feldner of Caldwell and Laverne (Belinda) Feldner of Caldwell; one aunt, Violet (Ken) Lunsford of Caldwell; two brothers-in-law, Ken Scheich of Caldwell and Darrold Brentlinger of Antrim; two sisters-in-law, Irene Okey and Bertie Hickenbottom of Summerfield; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 2-8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where vigil services will begin at 8PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 27th at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with the Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.
