Obituary for John B. Stanley
John B. Stanley, age 77 of Macksburg, Ohio died Friday morning (4/29/2005)at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was born 4/16/1928 in Kayford, West Virginia a son of the late Herf and Louise Clear Stanley. He was a co-owner/operator of the JR & R Coal Company and was a member of the Marietta Moose Lodge #1823. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 brother Rexall Stanley. Surviving are his wife Nannie F. Pack Stanley whom he married 11/4/1977; 1 son Randy (Lynn) Stanley of Virginia; 4 step-sons Donald (Evelyn) Booth of Virginia, Thomas (Dottie) Pack of Macksburg, Clyde (Judy) Massey of North Carolina and Paul Massey of Macksburg; 4 step-daughters Joyce Elkins of West Virginia, Mary (Thomas) Childress of Marietta, Patricia (Clair) Hughes of Caldwell and Doris (David) Addlespurger of Macksburg; 2 brothers Bruce Carson (Charlotte) Stanley and Max (Carole) Stanley of West Virginia; 1 sister Audrey Keeney of West Virginia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday (5/1/2005) from 4 to 8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, Ohio where services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will be at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg, Ohio.
