Obituary for Timothy C. Bettinger
Timothy C. Bettinger, age 45, of Caldwell, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 16, 1958, in Canton, son of Mrs. Alfred (Martha E.Morrison) Swain of South Olive, and the late Charles C. Bettinger. He attended Shenandoah High School, and was a track hoe operator for the Sharon Stone Company. He was a member of the Green Valley Church of Christ, and an active member of AA. Besides his mother and step-father, he is survived by his wife, Darlene L. Morris Bettinger, whom he married July 26, 1980; 2 daughters, Jean Ann Haga and Mrs. Tyson (April Lea) Kendall, both of Lower Salem; one son, Timothy D. 'Dusty' (Nichole) Bettinger of South Olive; five sisters, Theresa (Skeeter) Hamrick of Webster Springs, W. Virginia; Mrs. Robert (Bridget) Berens of Naples, Florida; Nita Cool of Dexter City; Dawn Bettinger of Caldwell; and Mrs. Butch (Patsy) Warner of Summerfield; two brothers, Denny (Patty) Bettinger and Doug (Kelly) Bettinger, both of Caldwell; six grandchildren, Gage and Cameron Howell, Morgan and Haley Kendall, Jacob and Lucas Bettinger; his grandmother, Lona Morrison of South Olive; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was Friday, July 16, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the service was conducted on Saturday, July 16, at 1PM with Pastor Ronald Rossiter officiating. Burial was in Crum Ridge Cemetery.
