Obituary for Charles H. "Chuck" Moore
Charles H. “Chuck” Moore, age 54, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at his home. He was born February 8, 1961, in Cambridge, son of Harry Murel Moore of Caldwell and the late Janet Ruth Oliver Moore, who died February 16, 2013. He was employed as a driller for Warren Drilling Company for several years, as well as other drilling companies. He was a member and served as commander for the Sons of the American Legion Post #641 in Belle Valley. He loved NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhart, Sr. fan, and he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and being outdoors and caring for his yard. He loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Mark Thomas Moore, who died January 15, 2015.
Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Lorraine Cowgill Moore, whom he married November 20, 2004; two sons, Dustin (Keesha) Moore of Glouster and Justin (Kim) Moore of Cumberland; four step-children, Adam Bolen of Florence, Ryan Bolen of Caldwell, Tiffany Bolen of Sarahsville, and Shanae “JoJo” Bolen of Caldwell; his siblings, Rick Frederick Murel Moore (Joyce Hardwick) of Marietta, Sheila Marie (Rich) Baker of Belle Valley, Cindi D. Moore of Caldwell, and Harry Daniel (Betty) Moore of Caldwell; 8 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Friends may call Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Thursday, April 2nd at 1PM with Pastor Rodney Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sons of the American Legion Post #641, 131 Brown Street, Belle Valley, Ohio, 43717.
