Obituary for LaVonna Marie Lloyd
LaVonna Marie Lloyd, age 74, of Byesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born October 13, 1947, in Columbus, daughter of the late Addie B. Sonner. LaVonna was employed by Red Carpet Health Care Center in Cambridge and she also worked as a home health aide. She was Catholic by faith and was known as an excellent baker and cook. She loved animals and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dean Lloyd, who died February 7, 1990; her son, Howard Dean “Deano” Lloyd; her grandparents who raised her, Ernest and Ernestine Parry; and an infant brother.
Surviving are her children, Judean Marie LeRoy of Zanesville, Joanna Lloyd of Caldwell, Tobey Lloyd of Byesville, and Amanda Hoop of St. Clairsville; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 12-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
