Obituary for Janice L. Williams
Janice L. Williams, age 76, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born July 19, 1941, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Earl Franklin Pangle, Sr. and Stella Angelo Pangle. She was a 1959 graduate of Caldwell High School, and she was employed by RCA, Westinghouse, Hamilton Beach Scovill, and Food Center, and she was a homemaker. Janice was a member of the First Church of Christ in Caldwell, and she was devoted to her family, who she loved taking care of and spending time with. She enjoyed making crafts, traveling, listening to country music, and she was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Carol A. Roberts and Shirley R. Butler; and one brother, Earl F. “Bill” Pangle, Jr.
Surviving are her husband, Myron P. Williams, whom she married January 23, 1960; her children, Rhonda R. (Donnie) Rohrbough of Caldwell, Danny L. (Nora) Williams of Dublin, and Larry D. (Debbie) Butler of Caldwell; three brothers, James L. (Rose) Pangle of Caldwell, Richard V. (Marilyn) Pangle of Summerfield, and Jack L. (Mary) Pangle of Caldwell; 7 grandchildren, Ryan and Dustin Butler, Genny Rohrbough (Andrew Brodbeck) and Brad Rohrbough, and Tyler, Logan, and Tara Williams; 1 sister-in-law, Dorothy "Marie" Pangle of Caldwell; 1-brother-in-law, Terry L. (Linda) Roberts, Sr. of Caldwell; a very special aunt, Ethel Abrams of Caldwell; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Pedro.
Friends may call Friday, July 21, 2017, from 4-8PM and Saturday, July 22nd from 10-11AM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation Saturday at 11AM with Pastor Dale Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ, 601 North Street, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724.
