Obituary for Marlene S. Blair
Marlene S. Blair, age 66, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1950, in Noble County, daughter of the late Edward and Nova Bates Poulton. She was a homemaker, and she loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens and collecting knick-knacks. She was a member of the Road Fork Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Robert W. Blair, whom she married February 19, 1970; two daughters, Carol A. (Fred) Leasure of Carlisle and Bobbie L. Cantwell of Belpre; five sisters, Helen Thompson and Cindy Dyer, both of Marietta, Brenda Luke and Rose Blair, both of Zanesville, and Sandy Ransom of Newark; four grandsons, Dustin Leasure, Derek Leasure, Robert Cantwell, and Jamie Cantwell; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, December 2, 2016, from 10AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Twp. Cemetery.
