Wilma Rebecca Perkins, age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, at Venetian Gardens in Loveland. She was born July 21, 1923, in Hiramsburg, Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew and Victoria Cepca Kominar. She spent her early years in Ava, Ohio, raising her children, and then relocated to Cincinnati where she lived for over 20 years. She retired as a property manager at the age of 79. Wilma enjoyed sewing, baking, and gardening. Some of her many outstanding accomplishments were her love of learning and challenging her own abilities. She was also very competitive in sports. She was very loving, caring, nurturing, and supportive to all of her family, and whenever she was needed, she was always there for you. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all, more than words could ever say.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Perkins; her brothers, John, Joe, Max, Steve, and Emil Kominar; and her sisters, Mary, Margaret, Betty, and Helen.
She leaves behind four children, Carol Voyles of Cincinnati, Thomas (Karen) Perkins of Kimbolton, Vicki (Gary) Barnett-Prupis of St. George, Utah, and Bob (Pat) Perkins of Austin, Texas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
