Wilma A. Moushey, age 85, of Coal Ridge, Ohio, died Monday, July 2, 2007, at her home. She was born June 5, 1922, in Coal Ridge, daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Yeager Sopko. She was retired from the Hamilton Beach Corporation. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Belle Valley, and its Catholic Women's Club. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, and helping at the Wolf Run Drive Inn at Wolf Run State Park, Belle Valley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, William and George Sopko; and one sister, Mary Ann Hill. Surviving are two sons, Gerald Moushey of Laguna Beach, California, and David (Regina) Moushey of Buckeye Lake; two grandsons, Christopher (Jackie) Moushey of Hebron and Gerald Moushey of Laguna Beach, California; three step-grandchildren, Michael (Joy) Scarbrough of Newark, Michelle Scarbrough Stephens of Buckeye Lake, and Rebecca Triplett of Zanesville; one sister, Betty McCauley of Caldwell; four brothers, Andrew (Helen) Sopko, James (Nancy) Sopko, and Frank (Hazel) Sopko, all of Braden, Pennsylvania, and Joseph Sopko of Monaca, Pennsylvania; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Seniz and Orhan Naldioglu of Newport Beach, California. Friends may call Thursday, July 5, 2007, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where Christian Scripture Services will be held Thursday evening at 7:30PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Friday, July 6 at 10AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Belle Valley, with Father Dale Tornes as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Belle Valley.
