Obituary for William Miles Morris
William Miles Morris, age 43, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 28, 1974, in Marietta, son of the late Thomas Philitus and Helen Mae “Tater” Foreman Morris. He was a 1993 graduate of Caldwell High School and he attended the Community College of Allegheny County at Pittsburgh. He was employed by the former Gateway Market in Caldwell, and he was also employed as an assistant manager at Caldwell Food Center. Bill enjoyed cars and was known as a Gearhead, and he also enjoyed all kinds of music, ancient history, and Civil War history. He loved his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmet Ellsworth and Myrtle Woods Morris and John Vernon and Helen Mae Shimp Foreman.
Surviving are his siblings, Hank Morris, Thomas Phillip “Buttercup” (Lisa) Morris, Charles Mason Morris (Dawn Bettinger), Maria Elaine Morris Ballard, and Patty Ann Harriman, all of Caldwell; one aunt, Mary Harriman of Dexter City; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dogs, his black pug, Solomon, and chug, Kody.
Friends may call Monday, April 17, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, April 18th at 11AM with Pastors John Powell and George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery.
