Obituary for Virginia Ruth Wilson
Virginia Ruth Wilson, age 78, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born November 11, 1938, in Noble County, daughter of the late Loen Bell and Sadie Jane Willey Kappel. She was a graduate of Dexter City High School, and she was employed as a switchboard operator at Dexter City, at a nursing home in Nelsonville, and by Essex Wire in Zanesville. Virginia was Baptist by faith, and she loved reading her Bible and singing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Leo Wilson, who died January 15, 2017; one daughter, Debbie Lynn Wilson, who died June 24, 2008; one son, Steven Jack Wilson, who died March 9, 2015; two sisters, Irma Irene Smith and Doris Smith; and two brothers, Wayne A. and George L. Kappel.
Surviving are one sister, Marjorie V. (Earl D.) Addlespurger of Macksburg; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends may call Thursday, July 27, 2017, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, July 28th at 11AM with Pastor Jay Workman and Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating.
