Obituary for Virginia Belle Wilkos
Virginia Belle Wilkos, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday morning (10/10/2002) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born 1/7/1920 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Russell & Nellie Bush Baker. She was a longtime employee of the former R.C.A and N.C.R. Plants in Cambridge, Ohio retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Ava Free Methodist Church at Ava, Ohio. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Wilkos, whom she married 5/18/1938 and who died 6/30/1996; 1 son George 'Sonny' Wilkos who died 4/30/1993; 2 sisters Gladys Moore and Sarah Anderson. Surviving are 3 sisters Marie Church of Caldwell, Ohio, Jane Dovenbarger of Belle Valley, Ohio and Nancy (Tom) Seevers of Ava, Ohio; 5 brothers Dick (Joane) Baker of Marietta, Ohio, Bob (Betty) Baker of Caldwell, Ohio, Raymond (Ethel) Baker of Massillon, Ohio, Art (Betty) Baker of Belle Valley, Ohio, Russell (Donna) Baker, Jr. of Byesville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law Verna Wilkos of Derwent, Ohio; 7 grandchildren Teresa A. (Steve) Moore of Caldwell, Ohio, John F. (Jody) Wilkos of Summerfield, Ohio, Bryan W. (Lorie) Wilkos of Caldwell, Ohio, M. Annette Nesdore of Caldwell, Ohio, Rick D. (Cathy) Haught of Derwent, Ohio, Tamara S. (Ed) Leasure of Cambridge, Ohio and Cherish Y. (Jerry) Ditch of Caldwell, Ohio; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday (10/11/2002) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held on Saturday (10/12/2002) at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rodney Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery in Hoskinsville, Ohio.
