Obituary for Viola Trott Hill
Viola Trott Hill, age 91, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born December 8, 1922, in Waynesville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Fred and Celia Davis Davis. She was a 1940 graduate of Sarahsville High School, and she was a homemaker. She attended the Canton Christian Assembly, and she enjoyed gardening and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Trott, in 1947; her second husband, Leonard Hill, who died in 2006; three sisters, Margaret Trott, Marybelle West, and Nellie Cline; and two brothers, Samuel Davis and Henry Davis.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (Darlene) Hill of Clarington and Dale Trott (Ron Brigerman) of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Clara Grywalski of Summerfield; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Rev. Dr. Robert Buckley officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant City Cemetery.
