Obituary for Timothy J. Bates
Timothy J. Bates, age 34, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was born October 31, 1977, in Muskingum County, son of Gerald Lee Bates, Sr. of Sarahsville and Marcella M. Childress of Caldwell. Mr. Bates was employed as an air jammer with RDL Energy of Alvin, Texas. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. In addition to his parents, is survived by his partner, Ashley D. Bragg of the home; paternal grandmother, Ruth Bates of Sarahsville; one daughter, Kaylee Dawn Bates of the home; two sons, Bradley Joseph Bates of Macksburg and Jimmie Dawin Bates of the home; one step-daughter, Kiylee Marie Bragg and one step-son, Aaron Lee Joseph Bragg, both of the home; his wife, Crystal D. Egnot Bates of Macksburg; one sister, Crystal L. (Brad) Dudley of Byesville; three brothers, Gerald Lee Bates, Jr. of Dewart, Pennsylvania, Jimmie Dean Bates of Sarahsville, and Thomas Allen Bates (Molly Biedenbach) of Caldwell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Monday, October 1, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at 11AM, with Pastor Brennan Dudley officiating.
