Obituary for Theodore B. "Ted" Glidden
Theodore B. “Ted” Glidden, age 75, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born August 28, 1943, in Massillon, son of the late Leonard Brooks and Fonda Nordice Rogers Glidden. He was a graduate of Dexter City High School, and he retired from Teamsters Union Local #40. Early in his life, Ted enjoyed hunting, especially rabbit hunting with his beagles, and he also loved fishing and boating.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Marlene Carpenter and Glenna Kirkbride; and four brothers, Robert, Rolland, Francis, and Lewis Glidden.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, Charles Kirkbride of McConnelsville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends may call Friday, July 12, 2019, from 6PM-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell. A graveside service will be observed Saturday, July 13th at 11AM at Dudley Cemetery with Ken Perkins officiating.
