Obituary for Thelma B. Rochus
Thelma B. Rochus, age 79, of Westerville, Ohio, died Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 14, 1936, in Noble County, daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Cale Davis. She was a 1954 graduate of Sarahsville High School, and she graduated from cosmetology school in Columbus. She was employed for a time as a beautician, and she was also a homemaker and a beloved mother. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, and taking trips to Amish country, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin R. Rochus, whom she married April 1, 1956, and who died August 21, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, M. Scott (Brenda) Rochus of Oak Hill and David L. (Bobbi) Rochus of Johnstown; one sister, Norma Jane Smith of Pleasant City; one brother, Loren R. “Son” (Joyce) Davis of Pleasant City; 5 grandchildren, Cody (Ashley), Paige (Renea), BayLee, Eric, and Tara (Jimmy); 4 great-grandchildren, Gauge, Cooper, Logan, and Leighton; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, February 15, 2016, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, February 16th at 1PM with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating.
