Obituary for Terry Lynn Hester McHenry
Terry Lynn Hester McHenry, age 62, of Fredericksburg, Texas, formerly of Noble County, Ohio, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at her home. She was born May 3, 1954, in Maumee, daughter of the late Harry N. Hester and Betty Imogene Nickell Roberts. She was a member of the VFW, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and she was an Army Mama. Terry was Baptist by faith and a beloved homemaker and mom. She enjoyed gardening, collecting knick knacks, and sharing recipes on Facebook.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, John David Harper.
Surviving are her children, James “J.D.” (Michelle) Harper of Caldwell, Ohio, Christina (Eugenio) Campa of Fredericksburg, Texas, Daniel (Mirtha) McHenry of Boerne, Texas, Jessica (Jacobe) Shumate of Utica, Ohio, Matthew McHenry of Zanesville, Ohio, Joseph (Kristina) McHenry of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Adam McHenry of Fredericksburg, Texas; 15 grandchildren, Katrina Harper, Tyler Harper, Kolton Harper, Savannah L. McHenry, Daniel McHenry, Joshua Jimenez, Adelie Jimenez, Eden Chapman, Elycia McHenry, William Shumate, Madison Shumate, Adrian Campa, Ivan Campa, Abigail Campa, and Isabel Campa; her siblings, James Hester of Zanesville, Ohio, Clarence “Skip” Roberts of Lima, Ohio, and Teena Beebe Roberts of Vernon, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses by clicking the green tab in the left column.
