Obituary for Terry Lee Allen
Terry Lee Allen, age 65, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at his home. He was born July 1, 1941, in Caldwell, and he retired from the BP Oil Company Station in Caldwell with over twenty years of service. He was a member of Regans Chapel United Methodist Church in Hoskinsville. He loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a collector of 1:24 scale model cars. He enjoyed working on cars and his John Deere Tractor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Allen Sponcil; his step-father, Luther Sponcil; and one brother, Gregory Sponcil. Surviving are his wife, Mary M. Harmon Allen, whom he married July 5, 1969; two sons, Johnny D. (Amy) Allen of Summerfield and Chad M. Allen of the home; two sisters, Deanna Dimmerling of Woodsfield and Pam (Mark) Stout of Columbus; one grandson, Ryan Andrew Allen of Summerfield; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call Thursday, January 25, 2007, from 2-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Friday, January 26 at 1PM with Pastors Travis Christman and Sandra Payette officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Regans Chapel Building Fund, c/o Cheryl Coyle - 13516 Chapel Drive - Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
