Obituary for Terry Eugene 'Charlie' Leek, Jr.
Terry E. “Charlie” Leek, Jr., age 43, of Caldwell, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born September 22, 1969 in Cambridge, a son of Sheila M. Long Leek of Caldwell and the late Terry E. “Hoss” Leek who died March 26, 2012. He was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School and was formerly employed by Buckey Disposal and Cubby Drilling. He was a member of Big John’s Sportsman’s Club in Pleasant City and the 672 Gun Club in Cumberland. Charlie was avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He enjoyed spending time online, playing cards and traveling. In addition to his mother he is survived by 2 sisters, Tracie M. (Daniel) Holdren of Cambridge and Heather D. Leek (Scott Dotson) of Cambridge; one brother, Chris A. Leek (Shannon Thompson) of Byesville; several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends may call Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, in Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11 AM with Flavil Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery near Ava, Ohio.
