Teresa A. Clark, age 70, of Middleburg, Ohio, died Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 18, 1952, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Kenneth E. Perkins, Sr. and the late Clara J. Miller Perkins. Teresa was a 1971 graduate of Caldwell High School and she was a beloved homemaker. She worked at Robey’s Restaurant in Caldwell until she got a five dollar tip from her future husband Harry for a cup of coffee. She enjoyed birds and watching westerns and anything with cowboys, Indians, and horses. Teresa was a devoted Christian who loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Jackson and Eileen Butler; and one brother, Kenneth E. Perkins, Jr.
Surviving are her husband, Harry Earl Clark, whom she married in 1972; her children, Bryan E. (Jane) Clark of Summerfield, Harry R. Clark (Chelsey Arick) of Middleburg, and Melissa J. (Kurt) Chandler of Caldwell; 9 grandchildren, Laken, Shawna, Clinton, Jonathon, Grace, Brody, Hunter, Colie, and Cami; 3 great-grandchildren, Colt, Teagan, and Finn, who is soon to be born; her siblings, Joann Powell of Caldwell, Sandy Clark of Suwannee, Georgia, Diane Morton of Caldwell, Clayton (Virginia) Perkins of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Terry (Jeannie) Perkins of Cambridge, and Mitchell (Jacquie) Perkins of Caldwell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews,; and her special dog, Max.
Friends may call Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 10AM-12PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 12PM with Pastor John Powell and Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Halley’s Ridge Cemetery Association, c/o Sandy Carter, 52013 Nicholson Road, Pleasant City, Ohio, 43772.
