Obituary for Tamela L. "Tammy" Ross
Tamela L. “Tammy” Johnson Ross, age 52, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at her home. She was born July 24, 1961, daughter of the late Donald V. “Duke” and Thelma E. Hupp Johnson. She attended Caldwell High School, and she was formerly employed by the Caldwell Eagles and Geri’s Dairy Queen in Caldwell. She was Catholic by faith, and she was a member of the Caldwell VFW Auxiliary #4721 and the Belle Valley American Legion Auxiliary #641. She loved animals and spending time with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Thomas "Jew" Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen L. Ross, whom she married February 21, 2004; one sister, Rebecca (Dan) Mazgay of Caldwell; one brother, Jeffrey (Roseann) Johnson of Carlisle; her nieces and nephews, Stacey (Brian) Smith of Winchester, Virginia, Amy (Joe) Kornokovich of Indianapolis, Indiana, Todd (Lisa) Johnson of Marysville, Matt Johnson of Caldwell, Cody Stewart of Caldwell, Michael Johnson and Don Johnson, both of Carlisle, Mark (Carrie) Johnson of Crooked Tree, and Shelly (Alex) Noll of Caldwell; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a vigil service will be observed at 4PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Thursday, March 20th at 10AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
