Obituary for Sue Chandler
Sue Chandler, age 56 of Crooked Tree died Monday morning November 24, at her home. She was born on December 9, 1946 in Caldwell a daughter of the late Charles 'Pete' and S. Grace Spence Eichhorn. She was a 1964 graduate of Warren High School and was a former employee of the Washington County Highway Department and the Dexter City Post Office as Post Master. She was a member of the Mary Reed Memorial United Methodist Church, the Aurelius Chapter Order of the Eastern Star at Macksburg, and the Belle Valley American Legion Auxilliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Dick, Donald and Freddie Eichhorn and 1 sister Bertha Ann Eichhorn. She is survived by her husband Jeff Chandler, 2 sons Brian Dale (Lisa) Elliot of Somerset Ky. and Joseph Hanford Chandler of Crooked Tree; 3 daughters Stephanie Dawn (Jason Pyatt) Smith of Barlow, Emily Chloe Chandler and Evi Sue Chandler of Crooked Tree, 3 sisters Marilyn Jean Archer of Belle Valley, Thelma Grace (Rolan) Brownlee of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Martha Mae (James) Myers of Akron; 3 brothers Clarence E. 'Eddie' (Marlene) Eichhorn of Marietta, Harold L. 'Slug' (Carolyn) Eichhorn of Caldwell and David D. Eichhorn of Barlow, 2 grandchildren Shon Smith and Ryan Mincks; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and at the Barlow United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 10 until time of services at 1pm with Pastor David Denney officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Barlow Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Joe Chandler College Fund in care of the Farmers and Merchants Bank 430 North Street Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
