Obituary for Stella Teresa Stapleton
Stella Teresa Stapleton, age 71, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1948, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Arthur C. and Doris June Edwards Schumacher. She was a 1967 graduate of Guernsey Central Catholic High School, and she was employed at Spirit Lounge in Cambridge for fifteen years. She was also employed by The Dockside Restaurant at Seneca Lake. Stella was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, and reading.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Susie Riddle.
Surviving are her children, David C. Green and Dusty A. Green, both of Cambridge, and Derrick A. Green of Caldwell; 6 grandchildren, Tanner Green, Kara Brown, Derek (Amy) Gibson, Erin Fenwick, Erica (Gage) Lingle, and Gage Touvell; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn (Joel) Burris of Caldwell and Tina (Shane) Morgan of Cincinnati; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her cousin Annie Bride.
Friends may call Monday, February 17, 2020, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a memorial service will follow visitation at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating.
