Obituary for Shirley A. Ralph Blair
Shirley A. Ralph Blair, age 71, of Caldwell, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at her home. She was born February 12, 1944, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Earl Henry and Gladys Wava Wheeler Ralph. She was employed by Essex Wire in Zanesville and March Electric in Cambridge for many years. She loved crocheting, knitting, and quilting, and she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She also loved and cared for her cats.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Junior Blair, whom she married February 27, 1965, and who died February 12, 2013; one son, William J. Blair, who died in 1997; and one niece, Tessie Ralph Cox.
Surviving are one sister, Carolyn S. Kelso of Zanesville; one brother, Bennie E. (Rose) Ralph of Caldwell; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, including two special great-nieces, Ashlyn and Raylyn.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 10AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor George Clark officiating.
