Obituary for Shirley A. Pridmore
Shirley A. Pridmore, age 66, of Whitehall, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at her home. She was born August 19, 1945, in Cleveland, daughter of Edward W. Mazgay of Caldwell and the late Marie L. Malenda Mazgay, who died March 24, 1998. She was a 1963 graduate of Caldwell High School, and a graduate of the Ohio State School of Cosmetology in Columbus. She was a retired beautician, and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. She loved to play bingo and word search, and she enjoyed cooking and watching television. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Linda Mazgay. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Cecil W. Pridmore, whom she married March 25, 1991; her siblings, Charlotte (Jerry) Dillon of Naples, Florida, Phillis (Ron) Forsyth of Columbus, Ted Mazgay of Caldwell, Phillip (Mealonie) Mazgay of Caldwell, and Edward L. Mazgay of Columbus; many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and her beloved dog, Snickers. Friends may call Sunday, July 22, 2012, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, July 23rd, at 11AM with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Belle Valley.
