Obituary for Shirley A. Hupp
Shirley A. Hupp, age 77, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born April 24, 1944, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Gerald G. and Helen A. Nau Miller. Shirley attended Caldwell High School, and she retired as a custodian for International Converter in Caldwell. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and its Catholic Women’s Club. She enjoyed working word search puzzles and watching the Hallmark Channel and Lifetime movies. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald T. Hupp, whom she married August 4, 1962, and who died August 8, 2011; and one sister, Mary Miller.
Surviving are her children, Linda L. (Lee) McKown of Newark, Robert A. Hupp of West Virginia, Roger D. (Ranie) Hupp of Caldwell, Judy L. Rush of Indiana, and Donna J. Spicer of Caldwell; her siblings, Lillian Crock, Marilyn Phalin, Catherine Wade, and David Miller, all of Caldwell; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, with one soon to be born; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a vigil service will follow visitation at 8PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Friday, July 16th at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
