Obituary for Shari L. Reed
Shari L. Reed, age 59, of Belle Valley, Ohio, died Friday, December 20, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born November 24, 1960, daughter of the late Ralph W. and Myra Lee Caston Steed. She was a 1979 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and a graduate of the medical assistant program at Muskingum Area Technical College. Shari was employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Alan Spencer at Marietta Memorial Family Practice in Caldwell. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, William C. “Bill” Reed, whom she married December 1, 1979; her children, Nicole D. Reed of Belle Valley and Jamie L. Reed of Caldwell; her siblings, Rick W. (Darlene) Steed of Sharon, Greg (Liz) Steed of Sarahsville, Deb Steed of Caldwell, Lorrie (Terry) Reiter of Belpre, and Brenda (Keith) Davis of Belle Valley; three grandchildren, Noah Lisak, Jaden Miller, Myra Lemaster, and one grandchild to be born soon; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 24, 2019, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor Larry Copley officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery.
