Obituary for Sadie M. Stottsberry
Sadie M. Stottsberry, age 96, of Caldwell died Saturday evening (3/6/2004) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born 2/11/1908 at Dover, Ohio a daughter of the late George & Stella Bell Baker. She was a former employee of the Caldwell Produce, Robey's Restaurant and Mary's Truck Stop. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ray Stottsberry who died 5/2/1988; 1 son Cecil R. Stottsberry; 2 grandsons Terry & Keary Stottsberry; 2 brothers Bud & Sonny Baker; 4 sisters Nettie Clark, Thelma Irwin, Carrie & Mildred King; 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Surviving are 7 sons Harold (Pearl) of Summerfield, Wayne (Jean)of Byesville, John of Caldwell, Arthur (Sharon) of Caldwell, Charles (Doris) of Sarahsville, Larry of Warsaw & Michael Stottsberry of Cambridge; daughter-in-law Verna Stottsberry of Belle Valley; 2 sisters Vonda Dowling & Verna Gerber of Florida; 1 brother Roy Baker of New Jersey; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday (3/10/2004) from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where services will be held on Thursday (3/11/2004) at 1:00 pm with Pastor Rodney Reeves and Rev. William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville.
