Obituary for Ruth O. Ginn
Ruth O. Ginn, age 87, of Ava, Ohio, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Hilliard. She was born April 22, 1922, in Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ancil and Lola Moffett Trenner. Mrs. Ginn was a graduate of the former Sarahsville High School. She was employed by the former RCA plant in Cambridge, and she retired from Cambridge Health Care Center where she worked in housekeeping and laundry. She was a member of the Ava Free Methodist Church, and she enjoyed reading, working puzzle books, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Gary E. Ginn; one grandson, Charles Keary Stottsberry; three brothers, Robert, Raymond, and Ronald Trenner; and one great-granddaughter, Courtney. Surviving are three daughters, Doris Darlene (Charles) Stottsberry of Sarahsville, Darla Jean (Ken) Gallagher of Hillard, and Mitzie Lou (Russ) Mellott of Grove City; one brother, Herbert (Margie) Trenner of Fort Worth, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, and Wednesday, September 2nd from 12-1PM at the Ava Free Methodist Church, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Jack Dearth officiating. Burial will follow at Halleys Ridge Cemetery in Ava.
