Ruth L. Milstead, age 82, of Macksburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1930, in Dexter City, daughter of the late Charles and Dora Clark Schneeberger. Ruth was a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church and Aurelius Chapter #60 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed writing, and playing the piano. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Milstead, whom she married August 9, 1959, and who died June 22, 1991; one daughter, Jana Louise Bing, who died March 10, 1996; one sister, Mary Jane Jeffery; and one brother, Gerald Clark Schneeberger. Surviving are one son, Randy L. Milstead of Dexter City; one step-son, William L. (Marilyn) Milstead, Jr.. of Dexter City; three grandchildren, Alina Milam, Levi Milstead, and Amy Lee Milstead; one nephew, William (Jeanette) Jeffery; and one niece, Linda K. Hovatter. Friends may call Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 10AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM. Burial will follow at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
