Obituary for Ruth A. Parcell
Ruth A. Parcell, age 44, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. She was born December 1, 1967, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Amos E. and Ruth L. Clark Armstrong. She was a 1986 graduate of Caldwell High School and the Guernsey-Noble Career Center, where she studied Marketing Education. She was employed in the deli at Food Center in Caldwell, and she was formerly employed by McDonalds in Caldwell and K-Mart in Cambridge. She was a member of the Caldwell Eagles, for which she served as a trustee, and she was also a member of the Munsee Delaware Indian Nation, USA. She enjoyed playing poker and bingo. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Diane Armstrong, Cathy Lynn Armstrong, and Tammy Ruth Armstrong; and one niece, Jennifer Elizabeth Armstrong. She is survived by one son, Bobby E. Parcell of Caldwell; two sisters, Ruby Katherine (Joseph) Coates of Summerfield and Becky S. Armstrong of Dexter City; two brothers, Amos E. Armstrong, II and Ronald D. Armstrong, both of Dexter City; special friends, Lisa Ramage Lee of Zanesville, and Rebecca Swain Hesson of Batesville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Friends may call Tuesday, December 13, 2011, from 1-5PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 5PM. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, P.O. Box 263, Caldwell, to assist with funeral expenses.
