Russell E. Wickham, age 71, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at his home. He was born April 11, 1939, in Noble County, Ohio, son of Verne L. Wickham of Cumberland and the late Willis C. Wickham. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Belle Valley American Legion Post #641. Mr. Wickham loved music and his geese, and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends, especially his companion, Cindy Wickham.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Diana.
In addition to his mother and his companion, he is survived by three sisters, Regina M. Williams of Cumberland, Ruth A. (Joe) Harr of Columbus, and Freda F. (Clyde) Butler of New Philadelphia; two step-sons, Chuck Pritchard and Keith Pritchard, both of Ravenna; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be observed Saturday, June 5th at 11AM at Archers Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Brennan Dudley officiating. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
