Obituary for Roy Dwayne 'Tuffy' Christmas
Roy Dwayne Tuffy Christmas, age 53, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at his home. He ws born May 15, 1957, in Evansville, Indiana, son of John Russell Christmas, with whom he resided, and the late Clara Penrod Christmas. He was a graduate of Caldwell High School and the Guernsey-Noble Joint Vocational School OWE Program. He worked in oil fields and as a truck driver. He was a member of the Caldwell Eagles and a former member of the Cambridge Eagles. He enjoyed gardening, riding his motorcycle, and helping his father and his friends.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Darvin Christmas, who died in 2002.
Surviving in addition to his father are two sons, Shawn Dwayne Christmas and Jared Lee Christmas (Ashley Eagleson), both of Sarahsville; his grandmother, Mary Wallace of Sebree, Kentucky; three brothers, John A. Christmas of Newcomerstown, Dale Christmas (Seena Baker) of Belle Valley, and Jeffery D. (Tabatha) Christmas of Newcomerstown; his friend and former wife, Denise L. Goodwill Christmas of Sarahsville; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be observed at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Inurnment will be observed at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell at the convenience of the family.
