Obituary for Rosemary Piskula
Rosemary Piskula, age 88, of Byesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at The Beckett House in New Concord. She was born August 13, 1925, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Robert and Albina Biss Sabath. She was a self-employed beautician in the 1950s and 60s, and she was deputy treasurer for Delta County, Colorado, and clerk for the treasurer’s office in Teller County, Colorado. She retired from K-Mart in Medina, Ohio, and Florida, and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Piskula, whom she married May 4, 1946, and who died August 25, 1990; and one sister, Mildred Badura.
Surviving are one son, Robert S. (Kathleen) Piskula of Sarahsville; 4 grandchildren, Brian Piskula of Byesville, Kevin (Nichole) Piskula of Caldwell, Mark (Christine) Piskula of Canal Winchester, and Sean (Heather) Piskula of Sarahsville; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, Joyce Veres of Richfield and Merrilee Komar of Cleveland; and one nephew, Robert Badura of Lodi.
No visitation will be observed. An inurnment service will take place Monday, June 30th, 2014, at 1:45PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
