Ronald Gene Lambert, age 58, of Pleasant City, died Friday evening, March 18, 2005, in Caldwell at the home of his daughter. He was born March 29, 1946, in Fanrock, West Virginia, son of the late William K. and Asie England Lambert. He was a coal miner and a Baptist by faith. He is survived by his wife, Loretta King Lambert, whom he married April 17, 1965; one son, Ronald Timothy (Sherry) Lambert of North Carolina; one daughter, Regina Bishop of Caldwell; five sisters, Violet Lusk, Faye Lusk, and Sue Spratt, all of West Virginia, Betty Reed of Pleasant City, and Fern Hatfield of Georgia; four brothers, Raymond 'Bob' Lambert of North Carolina, Ralph Lambert of Pleasant City, Daniel Lambert of Tennessee, and Eddie Lambert of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Jared Lambert, and Joshua and Shayna Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, March 22, 2005, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the service will be Wednesday, March 23, at 11AM with Pastor Nate Gibbons officiating. Burial will be at Halleys Ridge Cemetery near Ava, Ohio.
