Obituary for Ronald G. Minosky
Ronald G. Minosky, age 78, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born February 25, 1939, in Ava, son of the late Pete and Susie Friday Minosky. He was a 1957 graduate of Belle Valley High School, and he was a United States Air Force veteran. Ron retired as a process engineer from NCR in Cambridge following 30 years of service. Along with his wife, he also owned and operated Diana’s Bears for 10 years. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid fan of Caldwell Redskin and Ohio State Buckeye football. Ron was a devoted and beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Minosky Tipton and Irene Minosky Muth.
Surviving are his wife, C. Diana Masciarelli Minosky, whom he married September 3, 1960; three children, Jeff D. (Darlene) Minosky of Caldwell, Susie (Jack) Ludwig of Senecaville, and Rhonda L. (Justin) Hastings of Kansas City, Kansas; one brother, John (Ruth) Minosky of Zanesville; 7 grandchildren, Eric (Emma Jane) Marshall of Caldwell, Andrea Cadenhead of Cambridge, Nicholas Minosky and Andrew Minosky, both of Caldwell, Kyle Ludwig of Senecaville, and Samuel Hastings and Riley Hastings, both of Kansas City, Kansas; 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia Marshall, Cecelia Marshall, and Isabella Marshall; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special nephew, Marvin Muth of Ava.
Friends may call Monday, January 22, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a vigil service will conclude visitation at 8PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Tuesday, January 23rd at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris and Rev. Fr. Chester Pabin as celebrants. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in the form of masses at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
