Robin L. Riggs, age 58, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Care – Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born November 30, 1965, in Beverly, son of the late Edward and Katherine N. “Katy” Snodgrass Riggs and Larry D. Anderson. He was a 1985 graduate of Caldwell High School and the Mid-East Career Center, Zanesville campus, where he was enrolled in the auto body program. He was employed as a truck driver for Cambridge Packaging. Robin was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Caldwell. He enjoyed working on cars and fixing things, cooking, and gardening, and he was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed making trips to the Wheeling Island Casino. He was a devout Republican. Robin loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one sister, Patty A. Riggs; and one brother, Larry E. Riggs.
Surviving are his children, Allison M. Murphy of Caldwell and Morgan L. (Hunter) McPeek of Guysville; four grandchildren, Zoie Mackie, Hunter Mackie, Cayden Mackie, and Reid Hayes; his former wife, Penny Frame; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved Jack Russell/beagle mix, Peanut.
Friends may call Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, March 25th at 11AM with Bill Abrams officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery.
