Obituary for Robert Thomas "Tom" Justice
Robert Thomas “Tom” Justice, age 61, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, following stays at Cambridge Health and Rehab and most recently, Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born August 10, 1954, in Akron, son of Ila Hall Justice of Cumberland, formerly of Akron, and the late Robert Justice, who died in 2012. He was a 1972 graduate of Coventry High School in Akron, and he was a 1976 graduate of Ashland University, where he earned a degree in education. He spent his life working in the sales industry for various employers, and he was a nationally certified paramedic and instructor. He was a former Coventry Twp. Trustee, and a longtime member of the Akron Baptist Temple.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Jeremy R. Justice of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Ashlie L. (Eric) Justice-Mitchell of Ames, Iowa, and Joshua T. Justice, Jordan C. Justice, and Jacob M. Justice, all of Cumberland; one brother, Timothy L. Justice of Senecaville; two nieces and one nephew, Jessica Justice-Bader, Nolan Ross Justice, and Olivia Morgan Justice; and three great-nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 4PM-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Sunday, July 31st at 2PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
