Obituary for Robert Shawn Moore
Robert Shawn Moore, age 37, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Monday, January 23, 2006, at his home. He was born March 27, 1968, in Marysville, Ohio, son of Helen Louise Hickman Moore of Cumberland and the late Albert Carl Moore. He was a 1986 graduate of Shenandoah High School and Muskingum-Perry Career Center, and was the owner of RMS Fabrications. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and was an avid outdoorsman and NASCAR fan. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry and Maggie Way Hickman, and his paternal grandparents, Emmett and Blanche DeVolld Moore. Surviving besides his mother are one sister, Mrs. David (Gloria) Friend of Marysville; one brother, Alan (Mary Ann) Moore of Pleasant City; 2 uncles Bob Hickman of Massillon and George (Mary) Moore of Zanesville; 1 aunt Eldine Moore of Ava; two nephews, two nieces, five great-nephews, two great-nieces, his co-workers, and many friends. Friends may call Thursday, January 26, 2006, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the service will be Friday, January 27 at 1PM with Rev. Rodney Reeves and Pastor Roger Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Halleys Ridge Cemetery near Ava.
