Obituary for Robert R. "Bob" Brock, Jr.
Robert R. “Bob” Brock, Jr., age 69, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 29, 1051, son of the late Robert Russell and Maxine Marie Waller Brock, Sr. Bob was a 1969 graduate of Philo High School. He worked in oil fields for nearly 35 years, most recently working for FMS Drilling in Senecaville. He loved fishing and hunting, and he was a Cleveland Browns fan. Bob had a tremendous sense of humor. He knew everyone and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Kovaleski; and two brothers, Joseph Brock and Edward Brock.
Surviving are his wife, Cori L. Reighard Brock, whom he married in June, 2006; his children, Summer L. Brock of Caldwell and Jammie R. (Misty) Brock of Dudley; his step-children, Cheyenne (Kyle) Smith and Agusta Daugherty; his siblings, Shirley (Bobby) Wahl of Buckeye Lake and David (Debbie) Brock of Gaysport; 5 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 5-7PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 7PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Guests are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing while at the funeral home.
