Obituary for Robert Lee Boylen
Robert Lee Boylen, Jr., age 46, of SR 565 Lower Salem, Ohio, died Monday morning (8/26/2002) in Washington County, Ohio of injuries sustained in a logging accident. He was born 5/7/1956 in Grafton, West Virginia, a son of Robert & Betty Shultz Boylen, Sr., of Lebanon, Ohio. He was employed by Harriman Timber Company and had attended the Road Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Boylen was the President and Assistant Fire Chief for the Bethel Township Volunteer Fire Department and was a driver for the Bethel/Greysville Emergency Squad. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Donna Wittenbrook Boylen whom he married 8/9/1974; 2 sons Robert Boylen, III and Matthew Boylen of Lower Salem, Ohio; 2 daughters Mindy (Randy) Callihan of Byesville, Ohio and Jamie (Stacey) Harriman of Lower Salem, Ohio; 1 brother James Boylen of Colorado; 2 sisters Beverly (Cecil) Wolfe and Kay Wolfe both of West Virginia; 5 grandchildren Randall, Cody, Casey, Cole several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Thursday (8/29/2002) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held on Friday (8/31/2002) at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Irvin officiating. Burial will follow at Masterson Cemetery in Lebanon, Ohio.
