Obituary for Robert L. Yonker
Robert L. Yonker, age 59, of Belle Valley, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born August 8, 1951, in Marietta, son of Mildred Velosky Yonker of Belle Valley and the late David Paul Yonker, who died in 1993. He was a 1969 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and he was employed by the Village of Belle Valley Street Department. He was a member of the Belle Valley United Methodist Church, and he was a life member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #641 in Belle Valley. He enjoyed sports, and especially enjoyed watching the Shenandoah Zeps, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Joseph \"P.J.\" Yonker, who died in 2006.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Kimberly (Tom) Zudell and Denise (Tom) Fowler, both of Caldwell; one brother, Darrell E. (Donna) Yonker of Belle Valley; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 4-8PM at the Belle Valley United Methodist Church, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, May 6th at 11AM with Pastor Sandra Payette officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Guernsey, P.O.
