Obituary for Rev. Daryl A. Wheeler
Rev. Daryl A. Wheeler, age 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, January 16, 2017, after a long illness. Originally from Ohio, Rev. Wheeler moved in 1990 to Bradenton, Florida, where he was a realtor and the associate pastor of Southside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda (McFerren) Wheeler, two sons, Randall A. (Judy) Wheeler of Charlotte, North Carolina and Rev. Barry (Maureen) Wheeler of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one daughter, Shari (Eddie) Schoppelrey of Bradenton, Florida; one sister, Marcella (Earl) Bond and one brother, Elvin (Evelyn) Wheeler, both of Caldwell, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Rev. Wheeler is proceeded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren, and two-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be observed Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 1PM at Ragan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Hoskinsville with the Rev. Barry Wheeler officiating. Inurnment will follow in Hoskinsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1604-17th Street W., Bradenton, Florida, 34205.
