Renna Elaine Bell, age 87, of Columbus, Ohio, died Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Minvera Park Nursing Home in Columbus. She was born January 3, 1920, in Cumberland, Ohio, daughter of the late Ivan and Martha Everly Jordan. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School and Bliss Business College in Columbus. Mrs. Bell retired after 30 years of service as an accountant in the office of the Ohio Attorney General. She was a member of the North Broadway United Methodist Church in Columbus. She enjoyed salt and pepper sets, of which she was an avid collector. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Bell, whom she married December 15, 1940, and who died in 1995; and one niece, Carol Ann Zimmerman-Neely. Surviving are a sister, Ella Mae Gall of Dublin; two nieces, Jane (Craig) Hunkler of Columbus and Jean (Robert) Almond of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; one great-niece, Melinda Hunkler of Columbus; two nephews, Scott (Christina) Bolon of Burlington, Kentucky and Kyle Hunkler of Columbus; one great-great-nephew, Kaleb Bolon of Burlington, Kentucky; and many friends and relatives. Friends may call Saturday, October 27, 2007, from 1-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery, Caldwell. Memorial contributions may be made the Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio, or online at www.mtcarmelfoundation.org
