Obituary for Rebecca J. "Becky" Bettinger
Rebecca J. “Becky” Bettinger, age 69, of Pleasant City, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at her home. She was born August 28, 1949, in Marietta, daughter of the late Charles W. and Vera Mae Teeters Milligan. She was a 1968 graduate of Caldwell High School, and she retired from the Caldwell Public Library, where she worked for 30 years. Becky was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and she loved spending time with her family. They were the center of her life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Smith; and one brother, David Milligan.
Surviving are her children, David (Lisa) Bettinger of Kent and Amy E. (Joe) Carte of Pleasant City; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Carte, Brenna Bettinger, and Emily Bettinger; her grand-dog, Leroy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be observed Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 11AM at Sharon Cemetery in Caldwell with Pastor George Clark officiating.
