Obituary for Randy Allen Buckey
Randy Allen Buckey, age 55, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge, Ohio. He was born February 6, 1953, in Cambridge, son of Jeannette Rayner Buckey Rowlands of Caldwell and the late Charles Buckey. He was employed as a furnace technician for the GMN Tri-County Community Action Committee in Caldwell, and he was formerly employed as a Milwaukee Certified mechanic for Devine's Harley-Davidson in Barnesville. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Rodney Rowlands; and three brothers, Johnny Ray, Ronald E., and William S. Buckey. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Ranee Spiker Buckey, whom he married October 22, 1994; three sons, Robbie Allen Buckey of Caldwell, Vincent Lee (Ashley) Buckey of Charleston, South Carolina, and Chad Aaron Buckey of Williamstown, West Virginia; one step-daughter, Jamie Lee Selock of Caldwell; one step-son, Keith Daniel Selock of Caldwell; one sister, Chery (Roger) McElfresh of Caldwell; three brothers, Dan, Ricky, and Tony Buckey, all of Caldwell; his mother and father-in-law, Jim and Linda Spiker of Arizona; one brother-in-law, Allen L. (Lynn) Spiker of Caldwell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Friday, March 7, 2008, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 11AM with Pastor Bill Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Halley's Ridge Cemetery near Ava, Ohio.
