Obituary for Pauline DeLong
Pauline DeLong, age 87, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, December 30, 2013, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born August 22, 1926, in Williamstown, West Virginia, daughter of the late Earl A. and Mary Charolotte Wolfe Sersain, Sr. She tended bar for 40 years. Mrs. DeLong was Methodist by faith, and she was a member of the Dexter City American Legion Auxilliary. She enjoyed taking rides and playing with her Jack Russell terrier, Jack. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur F. DeLong; her second husband, Orris Paul Moore; and one brother, Earl A. Sersain, Jr. Surviving are one daughter, Karen J. (Bernard) Okey, Jr. of Summerfield; one son, Bil E. (Joann) DeLong of Caldwell; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Jack. Friends may call Thursday, January 2, 2014, from 10AM to 1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Nate Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow in Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
